hakkai doujin issue 1 cover

front cover for the 1st issue! getting this chapter all printed up like a real doujinshi just as a test before i print my original works ^_^

i didn't intend to use this picture at first but it kind of grew on me, i think it's like the 1st full body colour pic i have done of hakkai to be honest the mahjong tiles read east and west :3

coloured with copic sketch marker, textures from scrapbooking paper i've scanned in.

i was originally a bit reluctant to post this because i know how people feel about fan stories (with oc's in them) but i am really happy with how this is coming out so i will share it with you ^_^;

please don't hate me hakkai-fans U.U;

for those of you who haven't read saiyuki, you probably won't make much sense out of this in the begining ._.
